Former Attack Coach Passes Away

Former Owen Sound Attack coach Mark Reeds has passed away after battling cancer.

The 55-year old led the Attack to an OHL championship in 2010-2011 in the last season of his four seasons as head coach of the team.

Reeds played seven seasons in the NHL with St. Louis and Hartford.  His coaching career started in the ECHL with Peoria in 1996.  He then went to Missouri then Kalamazoo before landing in the OHL with Owen Sound in 2007.

In 2011, Reeds was named as an assistant coach with the Ottawa Senators.
