Curshers and 81's Win In WOAA Senior Finals

Mapleton-Minto and Shallow Lake won their respective games in finals of WOAA senior hockey Friday night.

The 81's beat Tillsonburg 6-4 in game 1 of the "AA" division final. The win ties Mapleton-Minto and the Thunder at 1-1 in the best of 7.

In the "A" final, The Crushers emerged victorious, also by a 6-4 fashion over Ripley. Shallow Lake leads the Wolves 1-0 in that series.

Game 3 between Mapleton-Minto and Tillsonburg goes Saturday night at 8:30 in Tillsonburg. Ripley hosts Shallow Lake at 7:30 for game 2.
