More Local Teams Win OMHA Titles

A pair of local team's added to the list of OMHA championships won by Midwestern Ontario in 2015.

Shallow Lake's Atom DD team ended a close series with Langton by winning 3-1 to take the series in 6 games (0-3,1-2,4-1,0-0,3-1,3-1).

In Tavistock, the South Bruce Bantams won the OMHA AE 4-5 title by completing the sweep in 3 games (6-1,3-2,5-1).

That puts the count of titles won by local teams to 6. To see who else has already captured an OMHA title, click here.

Elsewhere Dudalk was able to keep their series alive by beating Grand Valley 3-1 to tie their series at 2 games each. That is in the atom D division.

On Tuesday's schedule, South Bruce can win the Bantam C division title with a win in Lucan.
