Locals Bring Home Silver At Canada Winter Games

A pair of locals have brought home silver medals on the ice at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George, BC. The Ontario women's hockey team lost in the final to Quebec 2-1. In ringette, Team Ontario was beat 6-4 by Manitoba.

Mildmay native Miranda Lantz skated for the girls in hockey. She had a goal and one assist over six games on the way to the silver.

Mount Forest's Shae-Lynn Reaman was a part of the silver medalist ringette team.
