Canada Ends Deutschland Cup With Victory Over Hosts

Canada avoids leaving Munich without a win after a 4-2 victory over the host Germans.

The Canadians battled back after going down 2-0 early. Getting in on the scoring were Steve Reinprecht, Kevin Clark,Bud Holloway and Brandon Buck. Chris Mason made 25 saves for the win.

After losses in the first two games against Switzerland and Slovakia, Canada finishes with a 1-2 record.

Manning the point for Team Canada in the 3 game tournament was Lucknow native Bobby Raymond. He went without a point through the weekend.

Raymond now returns to the Mannheim Eagles of the top German division. The Canadian team was made up of players in European pro leagues.
