Minor hockey teams in the area will face off with a chance to move on in one of the biggest tournaments in North America. Regional Silver Stick tournaments start in this month hosted by teams all over Midwestern Ontario with the chance to move on in the competition.
Owen Sound hosts Minor Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget "A" teams from the 7th to the 9th. From the 16th to 22nd Midget "B" and "C" teams will compete in Wingham. Atom "B" and "C" will also be in Wingham from the 30th to December 6th. The 28th through 30th has all "AE" divisions in South Huron.
Silver Stick regionals will continue in the area through December and into the new year.
