The final phase of the Kemble intersection project in Georgian Bluffs will get underway this week.
The township announced final culvert replacement work will begin Tuesday, weather permitting. While crews complete the work Concession 20 from the Kemble Rock Road intersection to approximately 160 metres west will be closed.
"There will be no through traffic permitted during the closure. However, access to properties located within the closure area will be maintained for the duration of the project," the township said in a statement. "We appreciate the patience and understanding shown throughout construction. These improvements will help support a safe and reliable transportation network for years to come."
The closure is expected to remain in place until the end of the month.
Work to remove and replace the main roadway culvert was successfully carried out earlier this summer.
