Bruce County will host another household hazardous waste drop-off event, this time on Saturday, September 12 in Lucknow.
Residents are encouraged to bring all accepted household hazardous waste items to the Lucknow Bruce County Yard at 545 Ludgard Street in Lucknow from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Accepted items include paints and stains, aerosols and solvents, propane tanks, fuel, used oil and oil filters, batteries and antifreeze, household cleaners, fluorescent lights, fertilizers and pesticides, pool chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and fire extinguishers.
Bruce County stresses that commercial, industrial, agricultural waste, PCB materials, ammunition, and flares and other items are not acceptable.
