Parks Canada said the Cyprus Lake Campground is closed now through September 3, after several encounters with black bears were reported.
Day use areas at the park remain open at this time.

As Chatham-Kent marked the annual National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, James Street in Wallaceburg became a sea of orange as elementary school students took part in a Healing Walk.
The person was seen brandishing a firearm outside Chatham-Kent Secondary School, with officers later finding them and determining the weapon was an airsoft gun.
