Drug trafficking charges have been laid against two people after various illegal drugs were seized from a home in the Municipality of Kincardine.
An investigation by the South Bruce OPP community street crimes unit led investigators to raid the property earlier this month. An undisclosed quantity of methamphetamine, cocaine, GHB, MDMA, psilocybin, and LSD were seized. Police did not attach an estimated street value to the drugs found.
A 29-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman, both from Kincardine, were arrested. They are each charged with six counts of possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
Both of the accused have been released from custody and have an appearance in Walkerton court scheduled for June 10.
Police are asking anyone with information that may help with the ongoing investigation to call them at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
