Stratford Police announce new charges in drug investigation

Stratford Police Service say a long-running operation has led to more charges and the seizure of illicit drugs.

As part of Project Sapphire, police arrested a 33-year-old Kitchener man and charged him with possession for the purpose of trafficking on March 24.

Following the arrest, the Stratford Police Service Street Crime Unit executed a warrant at a Kitchener location.

Police sezied 134 grams of cocaine and over $7,300, as a result of the search. A 24-year-old woman from Kitchener was also charged with Controlled Substances Act charges.
