Detour on Bruce Road 15 in place for forseeable future

After extensive flooding in Pinkerton due to rising water levels in the Teeswater River, Bruce County has put a detour in place along Bruce Road 15, one that could be in place for a while.

A portion of the road remains closed between Sideroad 5 Greenock and Greenock Brant. The closure is for all vehicles, including emergency responders.

Signs are now in place for the detour, which uses Sideroad 5, Concession 10, and Greenock Brant.

The County says it anticipates that it will take some time to make repairs to the road and there is no estimation for when the route will reopen.

Residents can continue to monitor the situation by visiting the Municipality’s Pinkerton Flooding webpage.
