Grey Sauble Conservation Authority (GSCA) has issued a Flood Watch Statement due to the significant rainfall in the area.
According to the alert, Bighead River, Beaver River, and Sydenham Rivers are expected to get close to or exceed normal spring levels. Flooding is possible for riverine areas as well as bridges.
GSCA warned residents that high water levels can lead to unsafe conditions near rivers and streams.
The conservation will continue to monitor the situation, with this alert in effect until Tuesday.
