Some midwestern Ontario residents could find themselves shoveling out once again by Tuesday morning.
According to Environment Canada, snow squalls could develop Monday night and continue overnight, dropping an additional 10 centimetres of snow along the lakeshore. In Bruce Peninsula, the accumulation total could be between 15 to 20 centimetres under the squalls. A yellow level snow squall watch has been issued for that area.
"Visibility may be suddenly reduced to near zero at times. Roads and walkways may be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow," Environment Canada warned.
Drivers are advised to prepare for the possibility of quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions due to the possible squalls.
Any snow squalls that do develop are expected to weaken Tuesday morning.
