Upper Grand District School Board reminds parents to prepare for kindergarten registration

The Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB) is reminding parents to be ready for kindergarten registration.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 UGDSB school year opens January 6, 2026. The French Immersion on-time application window for registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open from January 6 to January 30 at 4:00 p.m.

UGDSB reminds parents and guardians that for next school year, kids born in 2022 are eligible for junior kindergarten, and kids born in 2021 are eligible to attend senior kindergarten.

If you're child attended junior kindergarten this year in the UGDSB, you don't need to register them for the senior class.

Information about how to register your child, including required documentation, immunization, the French Immersion application process, and out of area applications can be found on the board website here: https://www.ugdsb.ca/o/ugdsb/page/kindergarten-home
