SIU investigating injury during interaction with Grey Bruce OPP

Ontario's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is investigating an injury sustained by a man during a police interaction in Owen Sound.

The alleged incident happened on Saturday around 1:30 a.m.

Members of the Grey Bruce detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a retirement home for a man in distress.

During the interaction, the man reportedly fractured his arm.

The OPP won't be able to share any additional information since the SIU is now investigating.
