Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson says her riding is getting nearly $20 million through the Ontario Municipal Partnership Fund (OMPF).
According to Thompson, municipalities across her riding will be splitting the 2026 OMPF funding, with increases across the board from 2025, ranging from 4.89 per cent in Kincardine to 12.83 per cent in North Huron.
The announced funding was part of Minister of Finance Peter Bethlenfalvy's 2025 Ontario Economic Outlook and Fiscal Review: A Plan to Protect Ontario.
A release from Thompson's office claims that the plan "supports the government's plan to protect Ontario by building a more competitive, resilient and self-reliant economy by cutting red tape, investing in infrastructure, supporting workers, improving services and making life more affordable."
