Perth County OPP held its annual Law Enforcement Torch Run to support Special Olympics Athletes.

The run in Perth County took place on August 27, with uniform and civilian members of the OPP along with members of their families and local Special Olympics athletes.

The group was seen running throughout locations in Perth County, including Listowel, Mitchell and Sebringville.

As a result, $743.55 was raised, which goes directly into program support that affects all community Special Olympics Ontario programs.

Theses funds are then used to support athletes with travel, accommodations, meals, as well as developmental opportunities.
