One person charged following multi-vehicle crash in Central Huron

An elderly Central Huron resident is facing charges following a recent multi-vehicle crash.

Huron County OPP responded to a reported crash just after 4 p.m. on August 13 at the intersection of Bayfield Road and Parr Line in Central Huron.

According to police, one of the vehicles left the scene and drove south. Officers eventually located the involved vehicle, which was damaged and parked inside a garage. The suspect driver was identified by police and arrested.

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries.

As a result, a 75-year-old from Central Huron has been charged with dangerous operation and failure to stop after accident.

The accused was processed, and later released from custody with a court appearance scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Goderich on September 22, 2025.
