Bruce County holding another hazardous waste drop off

Bruce County will be welcoming residents to drop off household hazardous waste at a collection event in Sauble Beach.

The latest hazardous waste drop off will be held on Saturday, August 23 at the Amabel Works Yard, 413 Municipal Road, Sauble Beach, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Household hazardous waste materials include: paints and stains, propane tanks, used oil, aerosols, batteries, antifreeze, oil filters, solvents, household cleaners, fluorescent lights, fertilizers, fuel, pharmaceuticals, fire extinguishers, pesticides, and pool chemicals.

Please note that commercial waste, agricultural waste, industrial waste, PCB’s, ammunitions and flares are not accepted.
