Three hurt in crash northeast of Tiverton

Charges have been laid in a crash northeast of Tiverton that sent three people to hospital.

Emergency crews were called to the two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Bruce Road 20 in the Municipality of Kincardine around noon on Wednesday. Three people suffered unspecified injuries in the collision and had to be taken to a local hospital for treatment, South Bruce OPP said.

The crash kept the intersection closed for roughly two hours while debris was cleared and investigators were on scene.

A 28-year-old from Toronto is charged with failure to yield to traffic on a through highway.
