The Northern Tornadoes Project confirmed that a tornado touched down near Lucan on Monday during a brief tornado warning across Perth County and London rea.
The tornado happened to be witnessed by the NTP’s Director, who conducted an initial damage survey, finding EF0 damage to trees and farm structures. No injuries were reported.
A full ground and drone survey will be conducted Tuesday for track details and additional damage.
Several videos shared on social media show the tornado touchdown in the afternoon.
