Bruce County invites residents to drop off hazardous waste

Bruce County will host another household hazardous waste drop-off on Saturday, June 14.

The latest drop-off will be at the Bruce County Transportation Yard at 242 Canrobert Street in Paisley from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Household hazardous waste materials include paints and stains, propane tanks, used oil, aerosols, batteries, antifreeze, oil filters, solvents, household cleaners, fluorescent lights, fertilizers, fuel, pharmaceuticals, fire extinguishers, pesticides, and pool chemicals.

Commercial waste, agricultural waste, industrial waste, PCB’s, ammunitions and flares are not accepted.
