Owen Sound seeking input on upgrades for pair of parks

The City of Owen Sound will host a pair of outdoor open houses this week to get feedback on new playground equipment.

The play structures at Owen Heights Park and Comm-R-Ette Park will be replaced this year and to make sure it meets the needs and expectations of residents, the City is seeking public input on the design and features.

Each park currently has $125,000 allocated to the playground replacement.

In order to get feedback, there will be an open house at Owen Heights Park on Tuesday from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

The in-person event for Comm-R-Ette Park will take place Thursday, also from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

Those unable to attend in person can participate by completing a brief survey online at OurCity.OwenSound.ca/Playgrounds.
