The vehicle suspected to have been involved in a fatal hit-and-run in Owen Sound on May 10, has been recovered by local police.
The collision occurred Saturday at approximately 3 a.m. near the intersection of 5th Street East and 5th Avenue East.
The Owen Sound Police Service Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) has located a 2018 white Honda Civic believed to be involved. The vehicle has been seized by investigators and is undergoing a forensic examination.
Police say while it is a significant development in the investigation, they're still appealing to the public for assistance. Investigators are asking residents and businesses in the area to review any available surveillance, doorbell, or dash camera footage from the hours surrounding the incident.
