Numerous charges laid following trespassing and assault incident

One person is facing numerous charges following an alleged trespass and assault incident in Kincardine.

According to South Bruce OPP, on April 17 just before 6 p.m., officers responded to a report of a patron refusing to leave a licensed establishment along Queen Street in Kincardine.

Police arrived on the scene and arrested the individual without incident.

As a result of the investigation, police have charged a 54-year-old Kincardine resident with assault with a weapon, fail to leave premises, breach of probation and breach of recognizance.

The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.
