Provincial police are reporting a tragic end to a missing person case in the Goderich area.
On Tuesday afternoon, police announced that a 16-year-old boy named Hunter who had been missing since last week had been found deceased.
Hunter was last seen around 10:40 a.m. on February 28. Police received a report about three hours later concerning a teen missing from a property on South Street in Goderich.
Police do not believe his death was suspicious in nature, and foul play is not suspected.
The Huron County OPP is thanking the public for its assistance in the search for Hunter.
