Snow squalls expected for several communities in midwestern Ontario

Snow squalls are expected for communities around the Georgian Bay.

Environment Canada has issued a snow squall watch for areas like Owen Sound, Meaford, and Wiarton.

Starting Sunday morning, the wind is expected to reach up to 20 km/h. This comes after these communities received around 5 cm of snow on Saturday.

The snow squalls are expected to end sometime on Monday.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reminding drivers to slowdown when experiencing winter conditions.
