The 33rd Gathering of the Bands event is ready to entertain people in Kincardine this Saturday, August 24, 2024.
It's a way for the Kincardine Scottish Pipe Band to thank the community for many years of ongoing support.
The free live music begins at noon and runs to 6 p.m. in Victoria Park in Kincardine with a beer garden on site.
The highlight of every Gathering of the Bands is the mass band parade at 8 p.m. which sees the host band joined by other visiting pipers and drummers to march down Queen Street.
There is also an all-day, all-you-can-eat hot dog barbecue and corn roast for $15 per person and children ages eight and under eat free of charge. Those attending should bring their lawn chairs.
