Bruce County reschedules road construction project

Bruce County has rescheduled a road closure in Huron-Kinloss.

Work on Bruce Road 1 between Bruce Road 6 and Kairshea Avenue, south of Holyrood, was supposed to take place Wednesday, August 14, but due to unforeseen circumstances, the project has shifted to August 28, 2024.

That section of road will now be closed on August 28, 2024, from approximately 6:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. for culvert replacement, weather permitting.

There will be no through traffic daily from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Signage will be in place during this closure identifying an alternate route.
