Owen Sound Police have charged a Meaford teen after a local bank was robbed on Friday afternoon.
According to police, around 4:30 p.m. on May 31, a lone male suspect entered a financial institution and passed a note to a teller demanding money, "or else."
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of money before the robbery was reported.
Police began searching the area of the bank for the suspect. He was located a short time later and was arrested without incident.
The 18-year-old from Meaford has been charged with robbery and possession of stolen property.
He was held in custody for a show cause hearing.
