One person dead following three-vehicle crash

One person has died following a three-vehicle crash near the Township of Perth East.

Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) said that a 64-year-old North Perth resident was pronounced deceased at the scene. One person was airlifted to a trauma centre, and four others were taken to a local hospital following the fatal collision.

Emergency crews responded to the collision just after 4 p.m. on Saturday.

Perth Line 86 between Road 121 and Road 124 was closed for the investigation.
