Markdale mischief spree has police seeking public's help

Grey Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are reaching out to the public for help in locating video surveillance footage related to a series of mischiefs that took place in Markdale.

On March 27, 2024, at 6:52 a.m., the Grey Bruce OPP responded to incidents of mischiefs in Markdale. Sometime between March 26, 2024, at 10:00 p.m., and March 27, 2024, at 6:52 a.m., unknown individual(s) targeted ten residences in Markdale. The mischief involved spray-painting vehicles, garage doors, and residences. The affected areas include Lawler Drive, Edith Avenue, Main Street East, Stonebrook Way, and George Street in Markdale.

The police are urging anyone with information or video surveillance footage from March 26, 2024, at 10:00 p.m., to March 27, 2024, at 6:52 a.m., in the aforementioned areas to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
