A new manager has taken the helm at South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police Detachment.
Staff Sergeant Deb McClure has assumed responsibility for policing operations for three municipal contracts and two municipal non-contract locations.
McClure began her career with the Toronto Police Service in 2002. In 2005, she transferred to the Orangeville Police Service where she worked in the Crime unit for several years. In 2011, McClure joined the OPP and was assigned to frontline duties with the Wellington County OPP. She was promoted to Sergeant - Unit Commander with the Mount Forest In-Service Training Unit in December of 2021.
McClure holds a Police Foundations Certificate and Criminal Psychology Certificate from Conestoga College. In addition, she has been recognized with a Commissioners Citation for Bravery award.

The South Bruce OPP uses All-Terrain Vehicles, Motorized Snow Vehicles, Bicycles, a 32' boat, a 19' boat and a fleet of cruisers to provide 24 hours policing services on the trails, waterways, and highways of Southern Bruce County.
