Drug bust nets significant haul of illegal substances

A recent drug bust resulted in the seizure of numerous illegal substances and property.

On March 8, members of the South Bruce OPP and the Community Street Crimes Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Kincardine Avenue in Kincardine. 

As a result, police seized a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, percocet, and hydromorphone. The value of the seized drugs is estimated to be $28,533.

Officers also seized offence related property including Canadian currency, packaging material and cell phones. The value of the seized items is estimated to be more than $1,840.

A 41-year-old from Kincardine and a 45-year-old from North York are now both facing numerous drug charges. Both of the accused have court dates scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.
