Arrests made following break-and-enter in South Huron

A man and a woman from Forest are facing charges in connection with a commercial break-in in South Huron last month.

On Thursday February 29, police responded to a report of a break and enter at commercial property on Quebec Avenue in the Municipality of South Huron.

Police said the property owner found two suspects and a minivan on their property.

The suspects fled the scene in the van and the property owner followed before providing police updates.

According to police, officers from Lambton, and Middlesex Counties also became involved as the suspect vehicle entered Middlesex and Lambton Counties, before being located on a private property in Bosanquet Township.

Police said a female was placed under arrest immediately, while the second male suspect was located hiding in the area.

Officers transported both arrested parties to the Huron OPP detachment in Clinton.

A 42-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman both face charges for break and enter, and possession of stolen property.

The woman is facing an additional charge for possession of schedule I substance.
