Sloan headlining Saugeen Shores 25th Anniversary Celebration

Those attending Saugeen Shores 25th Anniversary Celebration Concert this summer will not be "Underwhelmed."

The town announced Canadian rock band Sloan will be headlining the August 10 event, which will celebrate a quarter of a century since amalgamation.

The event will also feature local band The Sofa Kings kicking off the night and cover band Dwayne Gretzky playing the afterparty.

“Saugeen Shores is excited to host Sloan, an iconic Canadian band, in our own iconic Canadian location, as we celebrate 25 years of community,” says Mayor Luke Charbonneau. “This concert is a community celebration, a tribute to the vibrant history of Saugeen Shores, and an opportunity for neighbors to come together and create lasting memories.”

The 19+ event takes place at the Southampton Coliseum, with doors opening at 7 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale for $40. They can be purchased online at www.SaugeenShores.ca/Concert.
