Grey Bruce OPP are searching for a stolen combine header after charges were laid in connection to a theft in Southgate Township.
Police said sometime between February 7 and 10, an unknown number of suspects allegedly broke into an outbuilding on a property. A Case IH header was taken.
Through a social media message, the complainant told police the header was seen near Shelburne on February 10, pulled over by police.
Following an investigation and a suspicious person call the next day, a 40-year-old from Melancthon was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to apply for permit on becoming an owner.
The Case IH header is still missing. It's described as a red Case International 1020 on a black and red header cart.
