Baseball camps returning to Clinton and Kincardine

Baseball camps are returning to Clinton and Kincardine this summer.

Huron-Bruce MP Ben Lobb has announced the 10th annual Clinton Minor Baseball Camp and the 7th annual Kincardine Minor Baseball Camp are scheduled to return this July to offer local youth affordable, valuable baseball instruction.

This year, the special guest instructor is former World Series Champion with the New York Yankees, and former Blue Jay, Homer Bush.

Bush was a part of the Yankees 1998 World Series Championship team and played for the Jays from 1999 - 2002. In his standout season as a Blue Jay in 1999 Bush batted .320 and stole 32 bases, ranking among the American League’s top 15 in batting and stolen bases.

This year’s camps will run July 8 and 9 at the Clinton Community Ball Park, and July 10 and 11 at Connaught Park in Kincardine.
