Ontario's Special Investigations Unit (SIU) is investigating the death of a 39-year-old woman early in the morning on December 22.
The SIU said around 12:15 a.m., OPP were called to a home near Mariners Way and Johnston Park Avenue.
When police arrived on scene, it's reported a woman could be seen through a window hurting herself. Officers entered the home and took life saving measures, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SIU is requesting anyone with information, photos, or videos, to contact the lead investigator on the case at 1-800-787-8529 or online.
