County announces Directors of Emergency Services and Public Works

Huron County has announced two new appointments to county staff.

In a release, Huron County shares that Jeff Horseman has been appointed the Director of Emergency Services. Horseman has been with the county since 2009, most recently serving as Chief of Emergency Services. He has over 30 years of experience in the paramedic field.

Additionally, Imran Khalid has been announced as the new Director of Public Works. Khalid has many years of experience in engineering and public works, particularly at the municipal level. He has served in previous roles with the county, and has a Bachelor’s of Civil Engineering degree with Toronto Metropolitan University. He is working to complete his Masters of Public Administration at Western University.

Khalid also obtained a Certificate in Asset Management from the Institute of Asset Management.

“The County of Huron is very pleased to welcome Directors Jeff Horseman and Imran Khalid to their new roles,” said Warden Glen McNeil. “Jeff and Imran’s vast experience is undoubtedly an asset to the organization, and I know they will both work collaboratively to ensure high quality services for our region."
