Brightshores Health System has named Ann Ford as its new President and CEO.
Ford has a background in large project development and collaboration with provincial healthcare partners and community stakeholders, both in urban and rural areas, which should prove valuable as Brightshores charts its course for the future.
"You are the heart of Brightshores. I eagerly anticipate working alongside you, getting to know you, and building upon the strong foundation that exists here," she said in her introductory message to the staff, physicians, and volunteers.
Ford says she plans to visit each of the Brightshores sites in the coming days to connect with staff and physicians.
