The 2023 Goderich Art Club Show and Sale will be held from August 11-13 at the MacKay Centre on Nelson Street in Goderich.
Member artist Cindy Fisher says the Goderich Art Club is over seventy years old.
“It started in 1952. We have about 35 members currently, so it's a great community of painters. This year we have twenty-three artists participating and that's over four hundred original works of art," Fisher proclaimed.
Fisher says there is a featured artist every year and this year the featured artist is Lesley Zolob.
The art covers a wide variety of themes and each artist pays to enter their art, and that money goes to support the programs of the art club. There is no fee to attend the show. The MacKay Centre is located at the corner of North and Nelson Street in Goderich.
