Grey Bruce OPP have charged a West Grey man in connection with a fatal collision in Meaford in March.
Emergency services responded to the collision with a pedestrian along Story Book Park Road around 1 a.m. on March 25. Ken Irvine, 44, from Kitchener suffered fatal injuries and the involved vehicle had fled the scene.
As a result of the ongoing investigation, police charged 32-year-old Dearl Vessie with failure to stop at an accident resulting in death, dangerous operation causing death and operation while prohibited.
