Survey suggests Wellington County residents are satisfied

The results of a survey seem to suggest that residents of Wellington County are satisfied with the services they recieve.

Ipsos presented the findings of the 2023 Wellington County Citizen Satisfaction Survey at the County Council meeting held Thursday.

The study is expected to help the county gain a better understanding of the needs and expectations of residents.

Ipsos conducted ta survey of a representative sample of Wellington County residents between April 25 and May 31, 2023. Questions were focused on learning more about people's experiences living in the county, their acquaintance with county council and local government issues, and their opinions of the county's programs and services.

Participants said the County of Wellington's high standard of living is a big draw. Respondents were optimistic about the future of the region and the ability to balance growth with quality of life. There were also high approval ratings for the county and its services.

“On behalf of County Council, I would like to thank our residents for participating in the 2023Citizen Satisfaction Survey,” said Warden Andy Lennox. “The results of this survey have identified opportunities and challenges for County Council to address. Council will continue to deliver and improve responsible public services to our diverse communities.”
