Fatal crash being investigated by police

The Grey-Bruce OPP are investigating a recent fatal crash.

On December 29 just before midnight, police received a report of a single vehicle crash on Highway 21 in the township of Georgian Bluffs. Officers responded alongside members of the Intertownship Fire Department and Grey County EMS to find a vehicle had collided with a deer. The driver was taken to a local hospital where they were pronounced deceased. Their identity is being withheld pending next-of-kin notification.

Highway 21 was closed for a lengthy period before re-opening during the morning of December 30. Police continue to investigate, and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is encouraged to contact Grey-Bruce OPP.
