School board officials in midwestern Ontario counties aren't waiting until Friday morning to close schools as a severe winter storm approaches.
On Thursday afternoon, the Bruce Grey Catholic District School Board, the Bluewater District School Board,the Avon Maitland District School Board, and the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board announced that schools will be closed to students and staff on Friday.
Students who attend BWDSB secondary schools will switch to online learning on Friday.
Elementary students may wish to visit TVO Learn for learning activities.
