Perth County OPP is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a suspicious person in the municipality of West Perth.
Police were notified that an 11-year-old student, walking along Wellington Street in Mitchell, had been spoken to by a female driving a red vehicle. The incident happened around 9 a.m. Wednesday.
The driver of the vehicle allegedly asked the child to get in the vehicle so they could drive them to school. When the child said no, the female drove away.
The driver of the red vehicle is described as a white female, approximately 40-50 years of age, short white hair, wearing a black puffy jacket.
