New Employer survey aimed at addressing labour shortages in Midwestern Ontario

Midwestern Ontario Employers can provide some insight into local workforce challenges and opportunities.

The EmployerOne survey is back after a pandemic break, and it's been revised to reflect current workforce trends.

The Four County Labour Market Planning Board will use the information to help build a strong and resilient workforce. Employers in Bruce, Grey, Huron, and Perth counties are facing critical shortages in the labour force with chronic low unemployment continuing in the region.

The condensed questionnaire will be used to put together a report for schools, community partners, government agencies, and the public to support local stakeholder planning and skills development.

"We would like to extend a huge thank you to our local employers, advisory partners and funders for your support of this and other projects undertaken by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board”, says Dana Soucie, Interim Executive Director.

The 20 question anonymous survey takes about five minutes to complete.
