Business donates $25,000 to renovations at BMG Community Centre

A local business has donated money toward the renovations at the Brussels, Morris and Grey Community Centre in Brussels.

The new owners of Huron Feeding Systems, Jacquie Waechter and Andrew Weishar, have continued the philanthropic nature of original owners Joe and Deb Seili with a $25,000 donation to the Inspiring Our Future group to help bring the BMG Community Centre up to modern standards.

Donations to the renovations will help renovate and expand the dressing rooms, create an unobstructed heated viewing area, build a new entrance and foyer, replace the roof and several other modernizations.

Inspiring Our Future Deputy Chair John Van Vliet accepted the donation from Andrew and Jacquie saying “it’s excellent to see Andrew and Jacquie and the new generation of HFS supporting our community with such a generous gift that builds on Joe and Deb’s legacy”.

Anyone interested in learning more about the project is encouraged to contact Campaign Chair Brian TenPas at 519-492-0214, Campaign Coordinator Roxane Nicholson at roxane@jamienicholson.ca, or any member of the campaign team.
